Front Royal, VA – August 12, 2024 – Parker, CEO of Tauran Management Group, LLC (TMG), and TMG have initiated a federal lawsuit through their representation, Jarvis Law, against Kayne Kreitzer, Bruce Kuhlman, Trinity Technology Group, LLC (TTG), Kreitzer Group, LLC, and KR Contracting, Inc. for $37,000,000. The lawsuit alleges severe misconduct, including the theft of trade secrets, unauthorized access to confidential information, and violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), the Defend Trade Secrets Act, and the Federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act).

Background on the Case

The lawsuit revolves around the alleged misconduct of Kayne Kreitzer, a former employee and consultant for TMG. The complaint reveals that Kreitzer, in conjunction with Bruce Kuhlman, CEO of TTG and KR Contracting, Inc., orchestrated a scheme to misappropriate TMG’s proprietary Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Operations Management System (OMS), known as "Concourse."

According to the complaint, TMG developed Concourse over several years to support government contractors, including TTG. It is alleged that Kreitzer, while employed by TMG, unlawfully accessed TMG’s intellectual property and confidential information, which he subsequently exploited for personal gain with the other defendants.

Key Allegations

The lawsuit, filed in the Western District of Virginia, includes the following claims:

  • Intellectual Property Theft: Kreitzer and Kuhlman are accused of conspiring to steal TMG’s proprietary HRIS/OMS Concourse system, designed for government contractors, including those associated with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
  • Unauthorized Access: The complaint alleges Kreitzer exceeded his authorized access to TMG’s systems, unlawfully downloading and deleting sensitive data from TMG’s Microsoft Government Cloud instance, causing significant damage to TMG’s operations and client relationships.
  • Breach of Contract and Non-Disclosure Agreement: The lawsuit claims Kreitzer violated his consultant agreement and NDA by leveraging proprietary information for the benefit of Kreitzer Group, LLC, and other defendants.

Additional Claims

The plaintiffs have expanded their lawsuit to include:

  • Violation of the Defend Trade Secrets Act: Alleging that Kreitzer and the affiliated companies unlawfully accessed and misappropriated TMG’s trade secrets, resulting in substantial financial damages.
  • Federal RICO and RICO Conspiracy: Claiming that the defendants engaged in a pattern of racketeering activities, including wire fraud and unauthorized access, causing significant financial harm.
  • Misappropriation of Trade Secrets under Virginia Law: Further accusing the defendants of violating Virginia's Trade Secrets Act.
  • Common Law and Statutory Conspiracy: Alleging that the defendants engaged in a conspiracy to harm TMG and Elizabeth F. Parker's business, with requests for substantial damages.
  • Piercing the Corporate Veil: Seeking to hold Kreitzer and Kuhlman personally liable for the damages caused through their corporate entities.

Jurisdiction and Venue

The case is filed under federal jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1331 and § 1367(a), with state claims included. The plaintiffs seek a jury trial and are demanding compensatory and punitive damages.
